Come With An Idea - Go With A Product
Agriya knows that there are many great innovators out there who have ideas for the next Google or YouTube. Unfortunately for many of us, ideas remain distant dreams due to a variety of reasons such as lack of technical knowledge or more commonly, a lack of resources.
It is our aim to help make the web a better place for users, and we're looking to actively support innovators and entrepreneurs who have ideas which otherwise wouldn't make it beyond the drawing board.
If you have something which you think is a ground breaking and innovative idea and would like to talk to us about it, we'd love to hear from you. Although we don't take on every project that comes our way, we do review the idea thoroughly and take forward those that have a good business potential.
We offer three types of investment for innovators and entrepreneurs, which are explained below
Technical Support Partners
This is one of our most popular options. You come to us with a product idea that you want to market, we'll provide the technical requirements and support. We will assist you in developing and supporting the product and you get to focus on building your business and marketing your company. Profits are split between you and Agriya. We negotiate the profit percentage on a case by case basis, depending on how much merit and risk we feel is associated with each idea.
Agriya helps you by developing the product using our inhouse team of programmers, and providing the after sales technical support. This is a true partnership as we complement our skills.
Seed Funding
Occasionally we will offer some seed funding to people who come to us with an idea for a website. If we feel the idea is truly unique or adds a valuable new twist to an existing idea, we are prepared to put up some seed capital to take the idea further. Agriya can become your technical partner, business advisor and investor. In return for our funding, Agriya will take a percentage of the company. The actual percentage is determined on a case by case basis.
One point to note is that we only consider ideas that are serious and where people have registered a company in their country. Ideas need to be truly unique or add an exciting twist to an existing idea. We're not looking for another YouTube or Yahoo Mail type website, we are looking for ideas that can push the boundaries of the impossible and make people go WOW! As a guide line, seed funding can be anywhere from $500 to $10,000.
Sell Us Your Idea
If you have an idea, but don't have the time or inclination to see it through, then you've got the possibility of selling your idea to us. We would develop your idea as part of Agriya's services and you receive a one time fee in return. As usual, we're looking for the truly unique ideas that haven't been thought up before, but will provide a solid business model for revenue - Agriya doesn't consider advertising revenue to be a solid business model as it's at the whim of other businesses whether we make or lose money.
We offer a fair price for your idea. Each proposal is considered on a case by case basis and judged upon uniqueness, technical requirements, business model and marketability. Based on this criteria, we negotiate and offer for your idea.
Your Ideas Are Safe
We appreciate that not everyone is keen to share their ideas. Rest assured that Agriya will not use any ideas or pass on any ideas that we receive to 3rd party people. Within the company, four people will review ideas that are received, and no one else will have access to them. Agriya will also agree to sign an NDA where the innovator or entrepreneur demands. However, for the initial contact, we do require that you give some information about your idea. Pique our interest, whet our tastebuds, make us curious to find out more!
The Next Step
If you are certain that you have the idea for us, and you are keen to take us up on one of the options mentioned above, please fill in this form so that we can start discussing your idea and see if it's something we can help you with! Due to an overwhelming number of requests, please do not get in touch if your idea involves a "clone of..." - we want original ideas only!
